Ray Campi<\/strong> ist in der Nacht zum 11. M\u00e4rz 2021 friedlich in seinem Bett f\u00fcr immer eingeschlafen, wie auf seiner offiziellen Homepage zu lesen ist.<\/p>\n

Ray<\/strong>, der bereits 1956 seine erst Rockabilly Single Catapillar<\/strong> auf dem kleinen, texanischen TNT<\/strong> Label ver\u00f6ffentlichte, feierte seine gr\u00f6\u00dften Erfolge aber im Grunde erst Mitte der Achtziger, als er oft auf den Festivalb\u00fchnen in Europa zu sehen war. Aber schon in den Siebzigern war er Teil der Revivalwelle. Insbesondere durch Ronny Weiser<\/strong>, der ihn f\u00fcr sein Rollin’ Rock<\/strong> Label unter Vertrag nahm, sorgte daf\u00fcr, dass Ray Campi den Rock’n’Roll<\/strong> Enthusiasten weltweit ein Begriff wurde.<\/p>\n

Bis zuletzt war er aktiv und spielte bis ins hohe Alter immer wieder vor begeisterten Fans seiner Musik. Unsere Gedanken sind bei seiner Familie und seinen Freunden.<\/p>\n
