Kicked Out of Hell: A History of Demented Are Go<\/strong> erz\u00e4hlt die Geschichte der Psychobilly<\/strong>-Legende von ihren Anf\u00e4ngen im Cardiff<\/strong>-Vorort Penarth<\/strong> bis hin in die Gegenwart als Top-Act der internationalen Psychobilly<\/strong> Szene.<\/p>\n

Im Mittelpunkt der Geschichte steht nat\u00fcrlich Mark “Sparky” Phillips<\/strong>, dessen Genie, gespickt mit einer geh\u00f6rigen Portion Wahnsinn, die Band seit fast vierzig Jahren auf eine Achterbahnfahrt mitnimmt. Eine Reise, die bislang gespickt ist mit Drogens\u00fcchten, Eskapaden, Gef\u00e4ngnisaufhalten und auch stillen Momenten der Reflexion.<\/p>\n

\u00dcber einen Zeitraum von f\u00fcnf Jahren f\u00fchrte Autor Nick Kemp<\/strong> ausf\u00fchrlichen Interviews mit fast allen Musikern, die in all den Jahren mit Demented are go<\/strong> auf der B\u00fchne standen (nur Choppy<\/strong> und Strangy<\/strong> fehlen). Nun ist sein Werk schlie\u00dflich in einer Auflage von 1.000 St\u00fcck erschienen.
